The job when you take over
- $12.7M of cap space is a lot of room: you can take on salary in trades or chase the best free agents on July 1.
- 6 contracts end after this season. Decide early who's part of the plan.
- 4 first-round picks over the next three drafts (including 2027 (from TOR)): the ammunition for a big trade, or a fast rebuild.
